Basketball Recap: St. Helens Victorious

St. Helens hadn't done well against Scappoose recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The St. Helens Lions walked away with a 55-42 victory over the Scappoose Indians. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 44-29 back in January.

St. Helens' win bumped their record up to 11-4. As for Scappoose, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-12.

St. Helens will have a chance to go back-to-back against Scappoose: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
