Volleyball Recap: Owens Valley Takes a Loss

Owens Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Lee Vining Tigers. The Cubs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Tigers earlier this season, when they won 3-1.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-15, 20-25, 25-13.

Owens Valley's loss dropped their record down to 4-8-1. As for Lee Vining, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-9.

Coincidentally, Owens Valley and Lee Vining will both be playing Baker the next time they take the court. The Tigers will host the Braves at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Cubs will host them at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
