Football Game Preview: Florence vs. McComb

Florence will challenge McComb on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. Florence are expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the contest prepared for a fight.

Florence made easy work of Raymond last Friday and carried off a 44-18 win. No one put up better numbers for Florence than senior Degerrick Lee, who brought his A game into the match. He rushed for 196 yards and 2 touchdowns. Lee has been a consistent playmaker for Florence as this was the 8th good game in a row from him.

Meanwhile, it was close but no cigar for McComb as they fell 21-24 to Lanier. McComb's defeat continues a disappointing trend for the team, making it five losses in a row.

Florence's victory lifted them to 3-5 while McComb's loss dropped them down to 1-5-1. McComb caused 10 turnovers against Lanier, so Florence will need to take especially good care of the ball.
