Basketball Recap: Stewart County Takes a Loss

Stewart County lost against Creek Wood back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Stewart County Rebels lost 59-34 to the Creek Wood Red Hawks.

Stewart County's defeat dropped their record down to 2-23. As for Creek Wood, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-10 record this season.

Coming up, Stewart County will square off against Gleason at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Gleason knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven games -- so hopefully Stewart County likes a good challenge. As for Creek Wood, they will face off against Fairview at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
