Provo is 7-1 against West since March of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Provo Bulldogs will hit the road for the first time this season to face off against the West Panthers at 3:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Provo has three straight wins, West has 19 straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Provo proved they can win big on Wednesday (they won by ten) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out Mountain Crest 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Bulldogs have posted since April 18, 2024.

Milo Rhineer was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

Meanwhile, West had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They lost 11-1 to Provo.

West saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Joseph Martinez, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-1.

Provo pushed their record up to 3-0 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 8.2 runs. As for West, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.

Provo took their victory against West in their previous matchup on Wednesday by a conclusive 11-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for Provo since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
