Basketball Recap: Lakeside Lancers vs. Workman Lobos

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lakeside). They simply couldn't be stopped on Wednesday as they easily beat the Workman Lobos 82-36. The Lancers pushed the score to 67-31 by the end of the third, a deficit the Lobos had no chance of recovering from.

Leading Lakeside to victory were Justin Jones and Jack Jones. Justin shot 50% from the field en route to 20 points and six boards, while Jack posted ten points in addition to eight assists and five steals. Justin is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 17 or more in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Brian Alvarez, who put up 11 points and seven rebounds.
