Volleyball Recap: Zeryc Chalmers and Jadden Perdomo Secure Win for Deerfield Beach

Deerfield Beach won the last time they faced Coconut Creek and things went their way on Thursday too. The Deerfield Beach Bucks walked away with a 3-1 win over the Coconut Creek Cougars. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bucks.

Deerfield Beach had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 18-25, 25-23, 25-6, 25-10.

Deerfield Beach was led to victory by Jadden Perdomo and Zeryc Chalmers. Perdomo had 14 digs and three assists, while Chalmers had three digs and two aces. Chalmers is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as he's now posted 12 or more in each of the last 12 games he's played dating back to last season.

They weren't the only good server: Deerfield Beach was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 15 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in April of 2024.

Deerfield Beach's victory bumped their record up to 4-1.
