Farmersville scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They were beaten by the Orosi Cardinals 62-30. The defeat continues a trend for the Aztecs in their meetings with the Cardinals: they've now lost three in a row.

Jason De La Cruz continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Orosi, rushing for 310 yards and four TDs on only 15 carries. De La Cruz's longest rush was for an impressive 62 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total. Another back making a difference was Leonardo Coronado, who rushed for 110 yards and three scores on only six carries.

Farmersville's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Orosi, they pushed their record up to 3-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.
