Basketball Game Preview: Elysian Fields Yellowjackets vs. Gary Bobcats

The Elysian Fields Yellowjackets will venture away from home to face off against the Gary Bobcats at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Elysian Fields is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took down Garrison 79-65 on Friday.

Meanwhile, Gary hadn't done well against Timpson recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Bobcats strolled past the Bears with points to spare, taking the game 51-32.

Elysian Fields is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.4 points over those games. As for Gary, their record now sits at 20-8.

Elysian Fields strolled past Gary in their previous meeting on January 9th by a score of 57-38. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Yellowjackets since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
