Volleyball Recap: Tennyson Takes a Loss

Tennyson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 20th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the San Lorenzo Grizzlies. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Grizzlies this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in March.

The match was exciting from start to finish, as two sets needed extra rallies to gain a two-point lead. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-22, 26-24.

Tennyson's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for San Lorenzo, their victory ended an eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-16.

Looking ahead, Tennyson will square off against Hayward at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. San Lorenzo has already played their next contest (against Mt. Eden), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
