Soccer Recap: South Allegheny Takes a Loss

After soaring to six goals the game before, South Allegheny was a bit more limited in their matchup on Thursday. They came up short against the South Park Eagles, falling 3-0. While losing is never fun, South Allegheny can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 426th, while South Park are ranked 114th).

South Allegheny's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10. As for South Park, they pushed their record up to 11-3 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Allegheny will welcome East Allegheny at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for South Park, they will look to defend their home pitch on Saturday against West Mifflin at 11:00 a.m.
