Basketball Recap: Carver Collegiate Academy Comes Up Short

Carver Collegiate Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were beaten by the John Curtis Christian Patriots 70-37. The Rams lost against the Patriots in their previous head to head back in January, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 55-43 score last time.

Carver Collegiate Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for John Curtis Christian, they pushed their record up to 4-0 with the win, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Carver Collegiate Academy will take on St. Augustine at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Rams will need to watch out since the Purple Knights have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for John Curtis Christian, they will be playing at home against Natchitoches Central at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
