Basketball Recap: Charlton County Comes Up Short

Charlton County lost against Irwin County last Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Charlton County fell 66-55 to Irwin County. Charlton County has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Irwin County to victory, but perhaps none more so than Sam Guy, who posted eight points in addition to seven boards and five blocks. What's more, Guy also posted four steals, the most he's had since back in January. Zay Payne was another key player, going 5-for-10 en route to 10 points and five assists.

Charlton County's record is now 9-20. As for Irwin County, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a massive bump to their 13-14 record this season.

As of now, neither Charlton County nor Irwin County have any future games scheduled.
