Softball Recap: Victoria West Comes Up Short

Victoria West's last matchup with Victoria East could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Tuesday. The Victoria West Warriors came up short against the Victoria East Titans, falling 6-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Warriors in their meetings with the Titans: they've now lost four in a row.

Victoria West saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Abigayle Stephens, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Victoria West's loss dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Victoria East, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-12.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Victoria West will take on Calhoun at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Victoria West is facing Calhoun at the right time seeing as Calhoun is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Victoria East, they will challenge Terry at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
