The Big Bear Bears pushed their score all the way to 57 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 65-57 to Granite Hills. Big Bear has not had much luck with Granite Hills recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
When it comes to explaining why Big Bear lost, one person who can't be blamed is Aiden Brewer. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 29 points and 16 rebounds. Brewer scored a full 50.9% of Big Bear's points, the fifth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Ryder Dolan, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 13 rebounds.
Big Bear's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Granite Hills, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Big Bear will take on Citrus Hill at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Granite Hills, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Serrano at 5:30 p.m.
