The Georgetown Day Mighty Hoppers will venture away from home to square off against the Bullis Bulldogs at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Georgetown Day is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 15.8 runs per game this season.

Georgetown Day's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 15-0 margin over Episcopal. The victory continues a trend for the Mighty Hoppers in their matchups with the Maroon: they've now won three in a row.

Natalie Ogden looked comfortable as she tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off four hits.

At the plate, Ellie Snyder was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That home run was her first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Rachel Hellman, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with five RBI, one triple, and one run.

Georgetown Day always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .739. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in three consecutive games.

Meanwhile, Bullis sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 7-5 win over St. Stephen's & St. Agnes on Thursday.

Bullis' victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-1. As for Georgetown Day, their record is now 7-2.

Georgetown Day took their win against Bullis in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 17-2 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Mighty Hoppers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
