Soccer Recap: Jackson Comes Up Short

Jackson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 5-0 to the Lamar County Trojans. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Jackson of the 5-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2025.

Jackson's defeat dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Lamar County, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-3.

Jackson didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Drew Charter on the 23rd. As for Lamar County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 5-0 victory against Coosa on the 21st.
