Ellendale had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Richland Colts. The Cardinals have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Colts, too.

Anisten Petersen paced Ellendale's offense, picking up seven kills. Petersen got some help from Mya Glynn and her 15 assists. Petersen also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Kinsey Middlestead, each putting up two.

Ellendale's win bumped their record up to 15-7. As for Richland, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 10-1.

Ellendale didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Wyndmere/Lidgerwood on the 4th. As for Richland, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Sargent County on the 7th.
