Trimble has gone 8-2 against Eastern recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Trimble Tomcats will head out to challenge the Eastern Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with six losses in a row, Trimble turned things around against Belpre on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Golden Eagles, sneaking past 46-44.

Meanwhile, Eastern hadn't done well against Federal Hocking recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Eastern breezed by Federal Hocking to the tune of 74-44. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 20 points or more this season.

Trimble's win ended a seven-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-15. As for Eastern, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season.

Trimble came up short against Eastern when the teams last played two weeks ago, falling 62-49. Can Trimble avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
