After a string of five wins, Richwoods's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Dunlap Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 last Tuesday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-13.

Tessa Arnott was nothing short of spectacular for Dunlap: she had 12 kills, eight digs, and one block. That's the most kills Arnott has posted over her last five matches. The team also got some help courtesy of Lydia Rogers, who had four digs and two aces.

Richwoods now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Dunlap, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-3.

Richwoods didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Normal Community on the 16th. As for Dunlap, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Belleville West on the 13th.
