Etiwanda entered their tilt with Beaumont on Tuesday with five consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with six. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Beaumont Cougars a 3-0 shutout. The Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Cougars, too.

The team relied heavily on Dailynn Battee, who scored a run while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. Gisselle Peraza was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

Etiwanda hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now struck out at most four strikeouts in six consecutive matchups.
