After having lost a blowout in their previous game against WISH Academy, Middle College was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the Animo Venice Pirates by a score of 6-0 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). The Cougars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by six runs or more this season.

Middle College's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Animo Venice, their loss dropped their record down to 3-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Middle College will challenge Animo Robinson at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. The Monarchs have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.08 runs per game on average), something the Cougars will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Animo Venice, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Stella High Charter Academy at 3:00 p.m. on Monday.
