Perry proved they can win big on Monday (they won by 15) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the North Baltimore Tigers 4-3. This was payback for the Commodores, who suffered a 3-1 loss the last time these two teams met.
Wesley Woods made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, earning one run and two stolen bases.
