Soccer Recap: Hubbard Falls to Proviso East in First Game of Season

Hubbard unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the Proviso East Pirates by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday. If Hubbard were looking for revenge after losing 6-1 to Proviso East when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Coincidentally, Hubbard and Proviso East will both be playing Kelly the next time they take the pitch. The Pirates will head out to face the Trojans at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Greyhounds will host them at 4:30 p.m. on September 3.
