Baseball Recap: Valhalla Takes a Loss

The home team had come away the winner the last four times Valhalla and Christian had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Norsemen fell 6-2 to the Patriots on Wednesday. The Norsemen have struggled against the Patriots recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Valhalla's record now sits at 1-6. As for Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.

Valhalla is taking a road trip to square off against Mission Bay at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Buccaneers' pitching crew has only allowed 2.1 runs per game this season, so the Norsemen's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Christian, they will host Grossmont at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
