The D'Iberville Warriors will challenge the Biloxi Indians at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.
Last Monday, D'Iberville got the win against Pass Christian by a conclusive 8-2. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won three contests by six runs or more so far this season.
Carter Naron was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-low in walks (zero). He was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing Two bases. while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in March of 2024.
In other pitching news, Kaden Allen looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits any time he's pitched this season.

Back at the plate, Jaxon Harris was incredible, scoring three runs while going 3-for-3. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Caleb West also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.
Meanwhile, everything went Biloxi's way against Pass Christian on Thursday as Biloxi made off with a 13-3 win. The match marked the Indians' most dominant victory of the season so far.
Shawn Gollott looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched.
At the plate, Will Parker was a standout: he scored two runs while going 3-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Leyton Gunter, who scored two runs and stole Three bases. while going 1-for-2.
Biloxi was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .571. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in three consecutive games.
Biloxi's record now sits at 3-4. As for D'Iberville, the win got them back to even at 5-5.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Friday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. D'Iberville has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 6.9 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Biloxi struggles in that department as they've been averaging 7.1 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
D'Iberville came up short against Biloxi when the teams last played back in April of 2024, falling 8-5. Can D'Iberville avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
