 If Elida was riding high  off their  12-0 takedown of Floyd last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Elida Tigers lost  17-3 to the Loving Falcons on Tuesday.
  Radlee Ferguson was cooking despite his team's loss,   scoring two  runs and  stealing two bases while going 1-for-1. Another player making a difference was  Teagan Norman, who  went 2-for-2 with two  RBI and a  double.
 Elida dropped their record down to 7-6 with that  defeat, which was their third straight  at home. As for Loving, the  win was  the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-2.
 Elida does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Loving, they will head out on the road to  take on  Eunice at 11:00  a.m.  on Saturday. Loving's pitching crew has only allowed 2.8  runs per game  this season, so Eunice's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
