Volleyball Recap: Madison Comes Up Short

Madison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Waverly. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against Waverly this season, with their most recent loss being a 2-0 defeat on Saturday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-15.

Madison's loss dropped their record down to 7-17-1. As for Waverly, their win ended a three-match drought at home and bumped them up to 21-13-1.

Coincidentally, Madison and Waverly will both be playing Olpe the next time they take the court. Madison will host Olpe at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Waverly will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
