The Jasper County Hurricanes will venture away from home to square off against the Putnam County War Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Jasper County will come into the game with an undefeated record on the line.

Jasper County barely beat Social Circle the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Hurricanes claimed a resounding 42-7 victory over the Redskins. Considering the Hurricanes have won five matchups by more than 27 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Jasper County's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was JaMarkus Thomas, who rushed for 144 yards on only 14 carries, and also threw for 117 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 88.9% of his passes. Those 144 rushing yards gave Thomas a new career-high. Chance Ross was another key back, rushing for 135 yards and two TDs.
