The Piedmont Hills Pirates will venture away from home to take on the Fremont Firebirds at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Fremont took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Piedmont Hills, who comes in off a win.

Piedmont Hills is headed into the game after thoroughly thrashing James Lick: they outscored them in every quarter. The Pirates enjoyed a cozy 53-35 win over the Comets on Tuesday. The Pirates haven't had any issues with the Comets recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Piedmont Hills to victory, but perhaps none more so than Nathan Le, who shot 50% from the field to rack up 11 points. Another player making a difference was Arnav Shailesh, who posted two points and seven steals.

Meanwhile, Fremont didn't have quite enough to beat Homestead on Tuesday and fell 50-48. The Firebirds haven't had much luck with the Mustangs recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Fremont now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Piedmont Hills, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
