Brighton came tearing into Friday's match with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21.3 points), and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victor by a 53-27 margin over the East Leopards. The Bengals have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten contests by 20 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Brighton to victory, but perhaps none more so than Olivia Stephens, who went 5-for-11 to rack up 14 points. Another player making a difference was Lucy Chin, who posted eight points and four steals.

Brighton smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive boards in three consecutive games.

Brighton pushed their record up to 16-7 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.7 points over those games. As for East, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 14 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-17 record this season.
