Football Recap: Mundy's Mill Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Mundy's Mill's offense. They were dealt a 68-0 loss at the hands of the Carver Panthers on Friday. The Tigers have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Corey Fletcher had another great game (as he tends to do), throwing for 202 yards and four touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes, and also punching in one rushing score for Carver. Gavin Hill was in the mix as well, providing the Panthers with two TDs.

Mundy's Mill's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Carver, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Looking ahead, Mundy's Mill will square off against North Clayton at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles' defense has only allowed 13.5 points per game this season, so the Tigers' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Carver, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Washington at 7:00 p.m. on the 18th.
