After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Deer Valley, Lincoln was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They enjoyed a cozy 27-8 win over the Lowell Cardinals. The Mustangs' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Mikey Washington went supernova, rushing for 223 yards while picking up 8.9 yards per carry.

Lincoln's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Lowell, they dropped their record down to 1-4 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Lincoln is set to face off against their familiar foe Galileo at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Lowell will take on rival Balboa at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
