It was a good run, but Bensalem unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 72-55 bruising from the Council Rock South Golden Hawks. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Fighting Owls this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 53-49 back in January.

Several Fighting Owls players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Amir Drummond, who went 8 of 20 on his way to 23 points. Jah Chatman was another key player, putting up 12 points in addition to seven boards and three steals.

Bensalem's loss dropped their record down to 12-8. As for Council Rock South, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-6.

Bensalem will challenge Abington at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Council Rock South, they will venture away from home to face off against Holy Ghost Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
