Softball Recap: Graves County Comes Up Short

Graves County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 5-1 to the Henry County Patriots, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Patriots this season, with their most recent defeat being a 5-1 loss on Wednesday.

Graves County now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Henry County, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 9-2.

Looking ahead, Graves County will head out on the road to challenge Marshall County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Henry County, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Dresden at 8:00 p.m.
