Soccer Game Preview: Bayshore vs. Saint Stephen's Episcopal

Bayshore hasn't had much luck against Saint Stephen's Episcopal recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Bayshore Bruins will venture away from home to take on the Saint Stephen's Episcopal Falcons at 6:00 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Monday just wasn't the day for Bayshore's offense. They lost 6-0 to Southeast on Monday.

Meanwhile, Saint Stephen's Episcopal didn't have quite enough to beat Shorecrest Prep on Tuesday and fell 2-1. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 294th, while the Chargers are ranked 41st).

This is the second loss in a row for Saint Stephen's Episcopal and nudges their season record down to 7-5-1. As for Bayshore, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-11.

Bayshore suffered a grim 8-0 defeat to Saint Stephen's Episcopal when the teams last played back in November of 2024. Can Bayshore avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
