Football Recap: Frankford Takes a Loss

Frankford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 12-8 heartbreaker at the hands of the John Bartram Braves. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Pioneers of the 22-12 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2022.

Frankford's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for John Bartram, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.

Coincidentally, Frankford and John Bartram will both be playing Boys' Latin Charter the next time they take the field. The Pioneers will head out to face the Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Braves will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on October 3.
