Soccer Recap: Little Elm Comes Up Short

Little Elm was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Guyer Wildcats, falling 4-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-0 back in February.

Little Elm's loss dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Guyer, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Little Elm will square off against Marcus at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Guyer, they will challenge Lewisville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Guyer will be up against Lewisville's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.1 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
