Baseball Recap: Sun Prairie West Has No Trouble Against Eau Claire Memorial

Sun Prairie West was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last match, but they sure didn't let that happen against Eau Claire Memorial on Saturday. The Wolves put the hurt on the Old Abes with a sharp 11-5 victory. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Wolves considering their one-run performance the contest before.

Sun Prairie West is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-10 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.6 runs over those games. As for Eau Claire Memorial, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-8.

Coincidentally, Sun Prairie West and Eau Claire Memorial will both be playing D.C. Everest the next time they take the field. The Old Abes will head out to face the Evergreens at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Wolves will play them later in the day, at 3:00 p.m.
