Volleyball Recap: Noblesville Comes Up Short

Noblesville lost against New Palestine back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Millers came up short against the Dragons, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Millers have suffered since April 1st.

The final score came out to 25-20, 25-16, 25-19.

Gael Esqueda paced Noblesville's offense, picking up 12 kills. Esqueda got some help from Sam Wolf and his 24 assists. Anas Sakkah controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Noblesville's loss was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 7-10. As for New Palestine, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.

Noblesville didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against McCutcheon on the 26th. As for New Palestine, they have also already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Shelbyville on the 28th.
