Softball Recap: Citronelle Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Citronelle and St. Paul's Episcopal squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Citronelle had to settle for second. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 12-2 to the Saints, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Wildcats just can't catch a break and have now endured eight defeats in a row.

Citronelle's loss dropped their record down to 3-19. As for St. Paul's Episcopal, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-12.

Citronelle didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, an 18-2 win against Vigor on the 28th. As for St. Paul's Episcopal, they have also already played their next game, a 12-1 defeat against Faith Academy on the 28th.
