Oakwood had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the four-goal drubbing they dealt Brookville on Thursday. The Lumberjacks' defense stepped up to hand the Blue Devils a 4-0 shutout. Considering Oakwood have won seven matches by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Brookville with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Riley Meador (2), Sally Altenburg, and Maddie Darr.

Oakwood's win bumped their record up to 9-0. As for Brookville, their loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 4-4-1.

Coming up, Oakwood will venture away from home to take on Fairmont at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Brookville, they will host Waynesville at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
