North Myrtle Beach put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Socastee Braves 68-29. The Chiefs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matches by 27 points or more this season.

North Myrtle Beach was led to victory by Madison Vereen and Faith Farmer. Vereen dropped a double-double on 21 points and 11 rebounds, while Farmer went 11 of 21 en route to 25 points and five steals. That makes it five consecutive games in which Farmer has scored at least a third of North Myrtle Beach's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Nevaeh Washington, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 16 boards.

North Myrtle Beach was working as a unit and finished the game with 16 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Socastee only posted six assists.

Socastee's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Rylee Minehart, who posted eight points and four steals. Trinity Sumpter was another key player, putting up six points.

North Myrtle Beach's victory was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-0. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.2 points per game. As for Socastee, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-8.

North Myrtle Beach didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 64-53 loss against Carolina Forest on the 14th. Socastee has also already played their next game, a 52-29 win against Myrtle Beach on the 14th.
