Laurens has gone 8-2 against Greenwood recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Raiders will square off against the Eagles at 6:30 p.m. Laurens is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games.

Greenwood's hitters are going to have their work cut out for them on Wednesday: Laurens hadn't allowed a single run the last four times they've hit the field. Everything went the Raiders' way against Union County on Tuesday as they made off with a 10-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Raiders, who have now won ten games by six runs or more so far this season.

Easley hit Greenwood with a eight-run seventh inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Eagles lost 12-6 to the Green Wave.

Elliott Lantz was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he pitched six innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than two walks in 13 consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Jayden Adams was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-4 with one home run and three RBI. Triston Lewis also deserves some recognition as he launched his first home run of the season.

Laurens' victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-9. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.7 runs over those games. As for Greenwood, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-11 record this season.

Everything went Laurens' way against Greenwood in their previous matchup back in March, as Laurens made off with an 11-1 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Raiders since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
