Baseball Recap: Red Rock Takes a Loss

Red Rock was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 18th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Fountain Hills Falcons, falling 15-0. If the Scorpions were looking for revenge after losing 13-0 to the Falcons when the teams met back in March of 2015, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Red Rock's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Fountain Hills, their victory bumped their record up to 7-3-1.

Red Rock wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 23-0 defeat against Phoenix Christian on the 28th. As for Fountain Hills, they will welcome North Valley Christian Academy at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. North Valley Christian Academy has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.93 runs per game on average), something Fountain Hills will no doubt try to take advantage of.
