Football Game Preview: Nixa Eagles vs. Pattonville Pirates

The Nixa Eagles will challenge the Pattonville Pirates at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Nixa comes in on 12 and Pattonville on three.

Nixa is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 45-28 victory over Helias.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Nixa to victory, but perhaps none more so than Adam McKnight, who rushed for 92 yards and a pair of TDs on only 12 carries, and also threw for 184 yards and two touchdowns on perfect 11-for-11 passing. That's the most rushing yards McKnight has posted since back in September. Randy Flint was another key player, picking up 135 receiving yards and two scores.

Meanwhile, Pattonville strolled past Fort Zumwalt West with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 56-42.

Pattonville's win bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Nixa, their victory bumped their record up to 12-0.
