Baseball Recap: Oklahoma City Broncos Homeschool Snaps Six-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Oklahoma City Broncos HomeSchool suffered their biggest defeat since April 30, 2024 on Friday. They lost 12-2 to the Duncan Demons. If the Broncos were looking for revenge after losing 9-6 to the Demons when the teams met back in March of 2015, then they'll just have to keep looking.

James Skelly made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April of 2024. Ayden Horner was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.

Oklahoma City Broncos HomeSchool's loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 4-2-1. A key ingredient in that success has been their performance when it comes to hits: they averaged an imposing 9.17 hits in those games compared to only 3.4 in the others. As for Duncan, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Oklahoma City Broncos HomeSchool will head out to square off against Pauls Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Oklahoma City Broncos HomeSchool is facing Pauls Valley at the right time seeing as Pauls Valley is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Duncan, they will venture away from home to take on Southeast at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. This will be Duncan's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
