Volleyball Recap: Kings Wins Going Away Against Lebanon

Kings barely beat Lebanon the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Knights put the hurt on the Warriors with a sharp 3-0 victory on Thursday. The Knights haven't had any issues with the Warriors recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-19, 25-12.

Ava McIntyre paced Kings' offense, picking up 12 kills. McIntyre got some help from Anabelle Seni and her 29 assists. Alana Burke controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Lebanon's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Annie Milton, who had 12 digs, and Ava Long, who had 14 kills and seven digs. Long has been hot for a while, having posted seven or more kills the last 44 times she's played.

Kings' victory bumped their record up to 15-2. As for Lebanon, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-12.

Coming up, Kings will head out to challenge Oak Hills at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Lebanon, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Turpin at 6:30 p.m.
