Basketball Recap: Green Bay Southwest Takes a Loss

Green Bay Southwest lost against De Pere back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Green Bay Southwest Fighting Trojans were dealt a 65-18 loss at the hands of the De Pere Redbirds. While losing is never fun, the Fighting Trojans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 349th, while the Redbirds are ranked fourth).

Green Bay Southwest's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10-1. As for De Pere, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 13-1.

Green Bay Southwest will square off against Bay Port at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The timing is sure in Bay Port's favor as the team sits on three straight wins at home while Green Bay Southwest has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road. As for De Pere, they will face off against Sheboygan North at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
