Basketball Recap: South Fulton Comes Up Short + How To Watch

South Fulton extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to nine on Friday, dropping them down to 0-7. They were outmatched by the Obion County Rebels and fell 71-20. The Red Devils lost against the Rebels in their previous head to head back in December of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 80-50 score last time.

As for Obion County, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-1. The matchup marked their most dominant victory of the season so far.

Obion County had a senior duo take command as Jatlynn Mosley went 9-for-10 to rack up 26 points and four steals and Levi Hendrix shot 83% from the field on his way to 12 points and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Mosley has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Harrison Hooper, who posted five points.

South Fulton will take on Union City in a holiday battle at 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday. The Red Devils will be up against the Golden Tornadoes' rather soft defense (which has allowed 57.44 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Obion County, they have already played their next game, a 67-59 win against Calloway County on the 13th.
